34 Bishops Walk is situated in a quiet location with riverside views within the fascinating town of Llangollen within North Wales.
The holiday home is just a four minute walk into Llangollen so it is conveniently located near to shops, wine bars, restaurants, pubs and the Llangollen steam railway, which is home to Thomas the Tank Engine.
With less rainfall than the Lake District and more sunshine than Cornwall it is not hard to see why this wonderful town is so popular with walkers and tourists. It also offers fishing opportunities and a golf club.
Here you are amongst the mountains, and can stroll along the spectacular canals where you may still see horse-drawn boats. Steam trains still chug along the Dee Valley and there are plenty of historic buildings and National Trust properties surround the town which has the ruins of Dinas Bran Castle over looking it.
34 Bishops Walk is ideal for a quiet weekend or family holiday and is within walking distance to the royal pavilion, which plays host to year round events including the famous international music eisteddfod, gardening show, motorcycle show, food festive and a monthly antiques and collectable fair. It is ten minutes from The Steady incline of the Horse Shoe Pass which reaches a max height of four hundred and seventeen metres - a good starting point for moor land walks and trails to the summit of Llantysilio Mountain.
The Pontcysylite aqueduct, which was built by Thomas Telford two hundred years ago is just fifteen minutes away, and the town of Wrexham is twenty five minutes away by car. Chester is one hour by car, as is Bala and Llangollen offers a public transport network.

One double bedroom with television/video combi with Freesat. There are built in wardrobes, chest of drawers and bedside tables with lamps.
Single Bedroom with pull out guest bed, built in wardrobes, chest of drawers and bedside table with lamp.
Bathroom with shower over bath and glass screen.
Lounge with flat screen television, Blue ray player with Freeview and two leather sofas that each seat two guests.
Kitchen with microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer, washing machine, Gas Hob and oven, along with table and chairs.
Conservatory with two chairs and a small table (wicker). Patio doors off the conservatory, lead to a quiet patio area with garden tubs and pots.
Driveway to the front of the property with garage for bike storage.
Additional information: Prices include linen, towels, electricity and heating. Children welcome, but must be supervised at all times as near to the river. Sorry no pets and no smoking. Bed lined and towels provided. Travel cot provided (Please provide your own cot sheets). Gas cental heating.
