Located in stunning countryside Underley Grange is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful area which is steeped in history and rich in natural beauty.
This delightful large holiday home is located on the Underley Estate where there are a wide range of outdoor activities to enjoy on your doorstep. Routed trails and footpaths wind their way through the estate grounds, which are a haven for wildlife and perfect country for those who enjoy walking.
Keen fishermen will be pleased to know there are opportunities to try fly fishing on private sections of The River Lune, renowned for its salmon in September and October and sea trout during the summer. There are approximately one and a half miles of private water on the estate to enjoy, including pools such as the Broken Banks and Catamaran. Fishing is by prior arrangement, for an additional fee and tackle can be hired on the estate.
The Underley Estate can offer you the chance to try clay pigeon shooting during your stay where you can participate in this sport amongst the beautiful rolling countryside of the Lake District, with the stunning backdrop of The River Lune - the perfect way to spend a couple of hours.
There are a number of walks throughout the Underley Estate and a number of footpaths and bridleways that take you across open fields and woodland, as well as a number of private walks only available to guests of the estate.
Kirkby Lonsdale Golf Club forms part of the Underley Estate and its 18 hole parkland course stretches over 6,500 yards. Preferential rates are available to guests and it is a pay and play course that can be booked in advance.

An early Victorian farmhouse, part of which dates back to the 14th Century, the property has recently been fully refurbished and modernised, and now provides exceedingly comfortable holiday accommodation for up to sixteen guests. Downstairs there are five entertaining rooms, numerous utility rooms, a games room and excellent outdoor clothing facilities.

Additional information: A full catered service can be arranged with cooks, butlers, cleaners etc. Short breaks can be offered and alternative changeover days can be accommodated where possible - please enquire. Plenty of off road parking is provided. Electric, heating and water are included as are towels and all linen.
