Regarded as one of the most picturesque dales in the National Park, Dentdale is over ten miles long and affords stunning scenery. Dent's cobbled streets are home to tea-rooms and pubs offering a choice of places to eat out and gain refreshment from a quiet cup of tea, to one of the Dentbrewed beers. There are also a number of shops in Dent and a bus service that runs to and from the old market town of Sedbergh, Oxenholme station and Kendal.
Dent Railway station is approximately four miles from Dent Village and sits on the famous Settle to Carlisle Railway line, one of the most scenic railway journeys in the world that stops at Dent station. From here you can also take a train to Carlisle or Leeds for great days out whilst enjoying the wonderful views along the way.

Reviews and Testimonials for Cobble Cottage
We have recently returned from a week at Cobble Cottage which we thoroughly enjoyed. The weather was, unusually for this time of year,
absolutely marvellous with crisp, frosty mornings. S.M. - Cornwall
I would drop you a quick note to advise that we had a very pleasant if wet and windy stay at Cobble Cottage. It is a really nice location and setting in the Dales. We managed to get in several nice walks and frequented the Dent hostelries. C.M. - London
