Each of the timber framed barns at The Old Farm are named after a local cider apple and were originally used for cider making. Hirons Barn nestles in the middle of Cherington in the Cotswold's on Hirons Farm. It was once a working farm with many acres, and has more recently been run as a riding school. The main house is now the owners home and they try and retain a farmyard feel with chickens wandering around the yard together with a couple of horses that are stabled there.At certain times of the year sheep and their spring lambs can be seen grazing in the paddocks and it is certainly a lovely time of year with daffodils and crocuses.
