Wisteria House is situated in the popular Cotswold's village of Bourton-on-the-Water and positioned at the quieter end of the High Street, within the conservation area, overlooking the church. It is a charming 19th century Cotswold stone cottage which has been sympathetically extended and recently refurbished to offer spacious, well-equipped and comfortable accommodation that still retains much period charm. All lettings are available on a weekly basis (short breaks not available) starting on a Saturday (apart from Christmas and New Year).
Not only is it just a stone’s throw from the much loved village green and River Windrush but it has a good selection of interesting little shops, pubs and restaurants within 200 yards, making it perfect for strolling out of an evening or lunch time.
As well as being a popular holiday destination in its own right with the Motor Museum and Birdland being on your doorstep, Bourton-on-the-Water is an ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds and Shakespeare country. Cheltenham, Oxford, Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon are all within easy driving distance and provide numerous places of interest and attractions.
This is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with a mild climate which is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Gently rolling hills, glorious gardens, quintessential little villages and honey-coloured Cotswolds cottages all add the charm of this beautiful part of England.
The countryside is complimented by a whole host of tourist attractions, enticing shops (particularly gift, craft, home interior, specialty and antique shops), places to visit, olde worlde tea shops, fine restaurants and cosy traditional inns with roaring fires.
Known as "The Venice of the Cotswolds" Bourton on the Water is one of the most famous and prettiest villages of the Cotswolds that people return to time and time again.

There is a small safe enclosed garden to rear with sitting out area and furniture. Leisure centre with swimming pool a short walk.
