The Granary is a recently converted two bedroom Cotswold stone holiday cottage, located in the West Oxfordshire countryside, just south of the delightful historic town of Burford.
All of the accommodation for this cottage is presented on the ground floor so it is wheelchair and baby friendly. With traditional features such as exposed timber beams and stone walls coupled with a fully fitted kitchen, twin and double rooms, the cottage is ideal for family holidays.
The Granary is situated close to the footpath and recognised walk, between the charming villages of Alvescot and Shilton. It is set some four hundred yards back from the nearest road, surrounded by fields and the lovely Oxfordshire countryside. There are terrific walking and cycling opportunities including the Oxfordshire Cycleway and numerous established local walks which are all close to the cottage. There is, within one mile, a small selection of shops for day to day requirements.
Well positioned, The Granary is ideal for visiting all the historic and beautiful villages in West Oxfordshire such as Burford, Bibury and Woodstock. The Cotswold Wildlife Park is three miles away and Blenheim Palace is a twenty minute drive away. For those who want to venture a little further afield, the cottage is also only a forty minute drive from the famous cities of Oxford and Cheltenham and the Designer Retail Outlets at Bicester Village and Swindon are only thirty five miutes away.

Ground floor accommodation comprising:
Bright, open living area with comfortable seating for four, flat screen digital television and DVD/CD player. This area also has a dining table which seats four.
Fully fitted kitchen area with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine.
Twin bedroom with wardrobe and bedside cabinets.
Double bed bedroom with wardrobe and bedside cabinets plus additional seating and views over surrounding countryside.
Family bathroom with bath, power shower, WC and shaver point.
Additional information: The ground floor has the benefit of under floor heating. Pets are welcome, there is a supplement of £30 per pet for the duration of the stay. The cottage sleeps four people via the two bedrooms, but should you have a baby or small child as a fifth person, we are able to accommodate for a fifth person supplement of £50 for the duration of the stay. A Cot, bedding and a highchair can be provided upon request Changeover day Friday (and Monday for short breaks). There is also an opportunity to use an additional double bedroom with television / DVD and en-suite facilities. This additional accommodation is available for a further 50% of the applicable weekly / daily rate.
Access: Being all on one level, the accommodation may be suitable for people with limited mobility. Please discuss your requirements with the owner to ensure the cottage meets your personal needs both inside and out.
