This magnificent 17th century Grade II listed country house provides luxury self catering holiday accommodation within Gloucestershire. It has six beautiful bedrooms accommodating up to twelve guests with the master bedroom having a four-poster bed.
Set in a secluded location within two acres of private, beautifully maintained gardens with river frontage and trout lake, it is hard to imagine anywhere nicer to spend a relaxing family holiday or gathering of friends.
Conveniently located in the heart of the Cotswolds within an Area of Outstanding National Beauty, Swan house is located in the village of Winson near to Bibury, Burford, Stow-in-the-Wold and Cirencester. Cirencester offers a wealth of places to eat, plenty of shops and supermarkets, a regular Farmers' Market, antique shops and internationally important Roman mosaics in the Corinium Museum.
Bibury, is about two miles away and was once described by William Morris as the most beautiful village in England which many people would still agree with today. The village offers a wide choice of dining at the Catherine Wheel, the local pub, the Swan Hotel or the historic riverside Bibury Court Hotel. The New Inn at Coln St Aldwyns offers welcome refreshment after the lovely river walk to it.

Nearby is the famous Barnsley House Hotel, much frequented by film stars, and opposite the road is the village pub which serves excellent food.

Swan House dates from the mid 17th century and is sumptuously furnished. Sleeping twelve guests, it represents the very best 5 Star self catering holiday accommodation. The house is hidden away on a no-through road and is set in two acres of beautifully groomed gardens, with river frontage and its own spring fed trout lake.
Winson is the most exclusive village within the Coln Valley, which itself is reputedly the loveliest valley in the Cotswolds. With credentials such as these, Swan House can genuinely claim to be the most luxuriously furnished and equipped holiday home in the prettiest valley in the Cotswolds.

The gardens are idyllic, with a wild garden, formal long herbaceous border, orchard and lake. There is a large terrace for informal summer dining with garden furniture and a gas barbeque. A hammock provides the perfect place for relaxing and listening to the river trickle by and is guaranteed to diminish stress! For those who enjoy walking, the setting of the house is perfect, with many local walks to lovely local pubs. Bicycles are also available and, for the less energetic, there are fly fishing rods provided for use on the lake.
Additional information: All bedrooms are beautifully appointed and most rooms have lovely views of the village or garden. Equipment includes a 42 inch flat screen plasma television, DVD /CD player, Playstation and numerous board games to keep all interests and ages amused. Prices are inclusive of heating, towels, bed linen, water, logs, welcome hamper and welcome toiletries. Regrettably hen or stag parties and pets can not be accommodated. Due to the presence of the river and lake, Swan House is not suitable for children under the age of five.
