Nestled in the tiny hamlet of Maugersbury which is within walking distance from Stow-on-the-Wold (half a mile), the cottages are surrounded by beautiful countryside and are ideal for those who want to explore the Cotswolds. They also provide the perfect base for those who want to stay locally and explore the area by foot with lovely walks through rolling countryside to pretty Cotswolds villages such as Oddington, Bledington, Broadwell and The Slaughters. Stow-on-the-Wold provides a very good selection of restaurants, pubs, coffee houses, art galleries and interesting specialist shops.
This central location enables guests to visit many attractions including Blenheim Palace, Sudeley Castle, Stratford-on-Avon, Oxford, Bath, and wonderful National Trust properties and gardens. Additionally, within ten miles of Park Farm there are facilities for horse-riding, golf and fishing.

Stonewell is featured in this advert and is a fascinating, two-bedroom, Cotswold-stone holiday barn conversion that is all on one level and was formerly a milking parlour and smokery. Today it provides 5-Star luxury self-catering accommodation for four guests and benefits from features including vaulted ceilings exposing traditional peg jointed oak roof trusses and solid oak flooring throughout.
Accommodation and facilities comprise:
- All of the main rooms are light and airy with south-facing windows from which to enjoy fabulous Cotswold views.
- Large sitting room with a wood-burning stove, illuminated 12 ft well covered by reinforced plate glass at floor level, flat-screen television with Freeview and a DVD player.
- Spacious, well-fitted, oak kitchen/dining area with full-height windows and a door leading to the patio. The equipment includes dishwasher, hob, oven, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer and microwave.
- Master bedroom with queen-size (5 ft wide) carved four-poster bed, flat-screen television and an en-suite wet-room with toilet, basin, shower with 8 inch shower head and under floor-heating.
- Twin bedroom with carved country pine furniture.
- Bathroom with toilet, basin, double-ended bath and separate walk-in shower.
- Outside there is a patio with garden furniture, uninterrupted Cotswold views and a working hand-pump that draws water from the well within the sitting room. There is also a lawned area with grassy banks.
