An exception listed period holiday cottage located in the Cotswold market town of Minchinhampton and connected to Gatcombe Park Estate.
The owners have paid great attention to detail and have skillfully blended the beautiful old character features of this cottage, with new modern appointments and a chic decor, to provide an exceptional holiday home.
Whether you are looking for a holiday, short break or romantic weekend, Park Terrace is perfect at any time of the year and sleeps four to eight guests. It is significant in the history of Minchinhampton and local architecture and was built in 1833 by David Ricardo, who at the time owned Gatcombe Park.
The cottage provides a perfect base from which to explore this beautiful area, with the Golden Valleys (Laurie Lee country), acres of National Trust common land and the thriving towns of Stroud, Nailsworth and Cirencester all nearby. It is ideally located just a short walk from the centre of Minchinhampton and close to shops (including the famous butchers), cafes, pub, and very good Chinese take away.

Tetbury with its antique & food shops (ten minutes drive).
New Highgrove shop.
Westonbirt Arboretum.
Nailsworth offering a wide selection of interesting shops and good restaurants.
The vibrant market town of Stroud, famous for its award winning farmers market on a Sat morning.
Cirencester, a Corinium market town with a wide selection of cafés, shops & museum (ten minutes drive).
The charming town of Painswick with its historic buildings and Rococo Gardens - often referred to as the "Queen of the Cotswolds" (ten minutes drive).
For those who want to venture a little further afield, Gloucester and Cheltenham are just twenty five minutes away and the Roman town of Bath is only thirty five minutes and makes a wonderful place to visit.

Park Terrace is ideal for friends and families who want to visit the Cotswolds. It offers spacious accommodation for parties of four in two bedrooms and can accommodate up to eight guests with the use of the third bedroom which can sleep an additional two to four guests if required.

Light airy spacious lounge with logburner, writing desk, comfy armchair delightfully covered in chic fabric, two two seater leather chairs, comfy footstool, SKY television and DVD player - the perfect place to relax after an exciting day exploring the Cotswolds.
New and modern kitchen with extensive range of facilities including integrated dishwasher and fridge, double oven electric cooker with ceramic hob, microwave and an outside door leading to the very large rear garden and utility room which houses the washing machine and tumble dryer.
Dining area with beautiful antique table and spoon backed chairs.
Stairs up to the first floor leading to the dressing area with stunning French shabby chic style furniture including a dressing table and stool and very large communal wardrobe.
Stairs leading up from the dressing area to the second floor where there is one large bedroom with one double bed and two singles which is full of character with original beams and a pretty window.
Master bedroom - a beautiful, restful room where the sun comes right into the room when the heavy drapes are pulled back.
First floor bathroom (accessed through the third bedroom). It is contemporary in design with an over bath shower, towel rail, underfloor heating, vanity cupboard and large well lit mirror.

Additional information: There is underfloor heating throughout the ground floor covered with beautiful Cotswold stone. The upstairs is larger than the downstairs due to the second floor and it is a bit of a squeeze if eight people are renting the cottage! There is a telephone and wireless internet conection. Short breaks may be available along with flexible changeover days - please enquire.
