Just spent a long weekend at Mutton Barn with our twp boys (in their early 20's) with the view to just chilling out and spending some quality family time together.
Mission accomplished, despite somewhat changeable weather, thanks to Paul's advise on what to do in the area.
The Barn is ideally located for a number of top tourist venues.
With the supreme comfort of the Barn We have all come away feeling totally relaxed and with the feeling of being plesantly isolated from the world for a few days.
As a host Paul has gone out of his way to make us feel welcombe.
The Barn is perfect ! We'll be back.

What an absolutely wonderful week we have all had! What an absolutely spectacular place Mutton Barn is! Thank you Paul and Louise for making this a very special place - So much thought has gone into making this the perfect holiday escape, even leaving Easter Eggs in the pantry for the children - Thank You!!
Not only is Mutton Barn the perfect countryside escape, but its location is perfect for exploring this beautiful area -
The cotswolds don't miss Chipping campden, Bourton-on-the-Water,for shakespear lovers, of course Stratford Upon Avon...stop for a cream tea!
We all made it to Birmingham The Botanical Gardens and Alton Towers (1.5 Hours Drive away) but with 3 active children well worth the trip!
Warwick Castle was Spectacular, and Ragley Hall a lovely "picnic" and childrens play area and the House and gardens to visit of course.
But, best of all was the pleasure of Mutton Barn itself - so quiet. only the sound of a distant woodpecker & pheasant...
early morning sunrise over misty fields, BBQ and wine in the evening, and beautiful walks with the children in "bluebell forest". Mutton Barn's enclosed garden is perfect -even Mum was relaxed!
The Beds are fantatically comfortable, the sofa & blankets in the living room a delight to curl up in and there is always the woodstove, if chilly in the evening. The website photos don't do the place justice!
What more can I say we shall be back!
Oh and great horse riding with Jayniie, Thank You
A big thank you for the wine and local jams and all the extras that made us feel so welcome.
