Hirons Barn nestles in the middle of Cherington in the Cotswold's on Hirons Farm. It was once a working farm with many acres, and has more recently been run as a riding school. The main house is now the owners home and they try and retain a farmyard feel with chickens wandering around the yard together with a couple of horses that are stabled there.
At certain times of the year sheep and their spring lambs can be seen grazing in the paddocks and it is certainly a lovely time of year with daffodils and crocuses.
Hirons Barn is a quaint cottage which is set in the beautiful English Cotswold's and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is totally detached and a great place to use as a base for touring, walking or even rambling the surrounding countryside. This pretty little stone cottage is perfectly placed in a typical Cotswold's village with several golf courses nearby and a village pub. There are also Gastro pubs within fifteen minutes and for those who want to venture a little further a field, Stratford upon Avon is only half an hour away, making a wonderful day out.
The Cotswold's really is a slice of England from the past with its picturesque little villages dotted with pretty cottages and historic towns offering some wonderful architecture. It offers something for everyone from the beautiful gardens at Hidcote to the Royal Shakespeare theatre at Stratford. Whether you enjoy fine dining or antiques, you will not be disappointed!
Hirons Barn not only provides the perfect retreat where you can truly relax but it is also well placed for visiting the popular Cotswolds villages of Chipping Campden, Stow on the Wold, Moreton in Marsh and Broadway.

This delightfully renovated barn is in a peaceful secluded location on a small farm close to Moreton in Marsh and Shipston on Stour. It was converted from former stables into a comfortable and cosy single bedroom cottage, retaining much original character and charm, including open beams and exposed timbers.
Accommodation comprises:
Downstairs open plan area with a well equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge. The style is contemporary with a mix of Cotswold stone and modern day fittings and furniture. There are large French windows opening onto a private south facing terrace suitable for barbecues and summer dining.
Upstairs is the bedroom and shower room with stripped pine floorboards, double bed, cupboards and plenty of storage space for your stay. The bedroom has unspoilt views of the hills and surrounding area and overlooks the stable yard.
Additional information: Short breaks are available all year around. A welcome pack can be pre-ordered. Linen, electricity, heating and towels are included within the price.
