Devon House Cottage was completed in 2005 and offers many lovely features that will make your holiday a memorable one.  It is located Just a short walk from the historic market square in Stow-on-the-Wold and offers a south facing outside seating area and small garden where you can relax with a glass of wine after an exciting day exploring the area. 

Steeped in history, the town is a delightful place to wander around with no lack of antique shops, restaurants, pubs, tea rooms, coffee houses and independent high fashion and interior design shops.

Sited on the Roman Fosse Way, Stow is the highest town in the Cotswolds and boasts one of the finest market squares in the country.  The final skirmishes of the Civil war took place in Stow in 1646 and today there are still many fine examples of 17th and 18th Century architecture in honey mellow stone around the market square.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside, it is no surprise that the area is designated as being of natural outstanding beauty and there are plenty of interesting places to visit including: the many popular Cotswolds villages; historic houses and gardens, museums, wildlife parks, Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford, Cheltenham and you can even visit Bath!
