Barton Cottage is a delightful two bedroom period Cotswold holiday cottage which is situated on the edge of the popular Cotswold village of Bourton-on-the-Water. It is only a one minute walk to the famous Mousetrap Inn (visited by Agatha Christie!) and has a good selection of pubs and restaurants within walking distance.

The holiday cottage has been thoughtfully renovated to provide spacious, stylish and comfortable accommodation.

The combination of this clear sparkling water and the attractive low bridges crossing over it create a charming scene, with many ducks and swans just waiting to be fed.

A comfortable, well equipped cottage in a picturesque location, located close to the town centre. Parking for one small car. "Friendly" pub next door. We enjoyed our stay and the ambience of the cottage.

We spent a very enjoyable weekend at Barton Cottage back in September. It's in a good position, just a few minutes walk to the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water; which has plenty of pubs, shops and restaurants as well as a number of interesting attractions. The cottage has been decorated and kitted out well and presented clean and tidy. Basically you get what you see in the pictures on the website. We thought a nice touch was the selection of CDs, books and games which was great for relaxing in the evening with after a day out and about; the local pub is literally just a 30 second walk away as well. When initially enquiring the owner was very quick to respond and the booking process was very straight forward; they even let us arrive an hour early which was much appreciated. All in all we would definitely recommend Barton Cottage for both couples and families, it has everything one need's for a comfortable and relaxing stay whilst in a great location with many places to visit just a short drive away.
