Cygnet Lodge is located at Isis Lake within the Cotswold Water Park andoffers you the opportunity to experience a unique lakeside holiday in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is perfectly located within the Cotswolds and ideal for using as a relaxing retreat from which to escape the pressures of every day life or as a base for exploring the many attractions and places of interest that the Cotswolds has to offer.
Recently refurbished, Cygnet Lodge can accommodate parties of up to six guests in three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Isis Lake is a natural, reed edged lake situated in a resort setting, near to the historic Roman town of Cirencester. A wide selection of activities around the lake are available for guests to enjoy and are included within the price of the holiday. All activities are situated in their own special area which is surrounded by large, green open spaces and well groomed communal gardens, thus ensuring a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. Here you can enjoy: three all weather tennis courts (one floodlit); children’s adventure playground; two fishing lakes (carp and trout with licence required); croquet lawn; boules piste; table tennis; giant chequers; games room with pool table, table top football, video games & soft play area; cricket & golf practice nets; football goal; volleyball net - all within a gated resort which benefits from its own 24 hour security for extra peace of mind.
Located in the heart of the Cotswolds, just four miles south of Cirencester, Cygnet Lodge is a short walk from the village of South Cerney which offer three pubs and a range of other amenities. Isis Lake is one of over 140 lakes in the Cotswold Water Park which spans an area of over forty square miles.
Guests are able to enjoy a wide range of sports and leisure activities within the Water Park area and there are a wide range of outdoor pursuits nearby including country parks, nature reserves, water activities, fishing, walking, cycling, golf and horse riding (charges apply).
Whether you plan to explore the beautiful Cotswold countryside with its market towns and villages, relax with a book on the sun deck or take part in more active pursuits, there is something here for all the family to enjoy at any time of the year.

Large open plan living/dining area with contemporary wall mounted electric flame effect fire, 32” flat screen television with Freeview, Sky+ box, DVD player and iPod docking station. Patio doors lead to the private south-facing sun deck with table and seating for six guests and also a parasol. A disposable BBQ stand is provided for alfresco dining.
Contemporary open plan kitchen area with all new integrated appliances including ceramic hob, dishwasher, single oven/grill, washer/dryer, fridge, freezer and microwave.
Downstairs shower room with shower, basin and WC.
Master bedroom with king size bed, double wardrobe, ceiling fan, seating area, 19” flat screen television with Freeview, radio/alarm, and radio/CD player. This room also benefits from a lovely view over the lake.
Bedroom two with double bed and single wardrobe.
Bedroom three with full size bunk beds and hanging rail.
Upstairs family bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC.
Additional information: Parking is to the front of the cottage. There are steps up to the front porch, and leading down from the gated sun deck at the back. A travel cot and high chair can be provided. Prices include linen and towels together with the use of all the facilities around the lake. The cottage will be prepared and all beds made up for your arrival. Standard bookings start and end on a Friday or Monday. Short breaks available - please enquire with the owner. There is Wi-Fi access on site (charges apply). Bikes can be stored on the decking area over night.
