Vesta cottage is situated at the entrance to the village and has superb panaramic views stretching from the harbour to the whole of Mounts Bay. This spacious cottage has reversed accommodation with a large lounge/diner/kitchen on the first floor. There are two bedrooms - a double and twin on the ground floor with a large bathroom.

Mousehole is a small traditional fishing village and is widely regarded as one of the most picturesque villages in England with it's beautiful harbour and maze of winding little streets. The harbour is surrounded with sandy beaches and is very safe for families to swim and play. There are rocky beaches to either side of the harbour and a childrens swimming pool. There are amazing coastal walks close by and in particular the one from Mousehole to Lamorna. Mousehole has it's own carnival in the summer offering various entertainment for children and adults and the village has a male voice choir who sing in the harbour on some evenings. At Christmas Mousehole boasts a spectacular display of lights.

The village has many places to eat and drink throughout the day ranging from fish and chip shop, cafes, pubs and three highly regarded restaurants - all within walking distance of Vesta Cottage.

Within a few miles there are lovely sandy beaches at Porthcurno, Sennen and St. Ives Bay. The Minack Theatre is a 'must to visit' and is located just a few miles along the coast. It is an amphitheatre and stage which has been formed out of the cliff overlooking Porthcurno beach - a stunning backdrop and a wonderful place to watch a production

The West of Cornwall is rich in prehistory. Man and nature have combined to produce many mysterious sites including an ancient village Chysauster near Penzance.
