Sweets Cottage is in the perfect location for a peaceful relaxing break or holiday. It is ideally located in a secluded position just one mile away from Crackington Haven beach on the stunning North Cornwall coast.
With a large garden where you can enjoy a barbeque, relax with a good book or enjoy outdoor games in the summer months; and a cosy low beamed lounge - this is the perfect place at any time of the year. It also benefits from having good accessibility to surrounding places of interest throughout Cornwall, making it a good base from which to explore the area.
Sweets Cottage is an 18th century detached Cornish cob cottage situated in a quiet lane, one mile from the beach of Crackington Haven. Its setting is peaceful and secluded but is only a five minute walk from the village shop and post office.
There are numerous footpaths which can be accessed easily from the cottage, you could walk through the fields and woodland beyond Sweets down to the beach at the Haven with stunning scenery enroute, taking approx 20-30 minutes its steep in places but absolutely beautiful and well worth it, or you could drive and park at the beach car park and have a pub lunch at the 'Coombe Barton' which overlooks the sea, or enjoy a meal at one of the two cafe's facing the beach, where walking could be extended up onto the cliff paths, or just relax on the dramatic beach at the haven and do a spot of bathing or surfing.
Bude is the nearest large town which is approximately twelve miles (twenty minute drive) and offers a good selection of shops, supermarkets, pubs, a vast sandy beach, golf course, leisure centre and bowling alley etc.
Boscastle is another very popular picturesque destination to visit and only five miles away with its beautiful harbour, cliff pathways, restaurants, tea rooms, pubs and shops. Widemouth Bay with its expanse of sand is also just five miles and again offers excellent surfing.

Sweets cottage comfortably sleeps up to four guests in three bedrooms and is ideal for a relaxing break at any time of the year.
Accommodation comprises:
Cosy lounge which is full of character with low beamed ceilings, window seat, television, DVD and CD player. There is also the dining area at the far end of the room and a small open staircase leading from the lounge up to the bedrooms. A large library of books and board games are provided.
Large country kitchen with microwave, washing machine, electric cooker and dishwasher.
Contemporary bathroom downstairs, with a separate shower cubicle.
Two double bedrooms (one with an ensuite cloakroom) and one single bedroom upstairs - all with uninterrupted views over open countryside. Hair dryer is provided.
Outside: There is a large private garden surrounded on all sides by fields, and ample off road parking in the paddock. A large patio area at the rear of the property is a sun trap and ideal for your BBQ - outdoor hardwood table, chairs, bench, sun loungers and barbeque provided.
Additional information: Bed linen, duvets, pillows, towels (please bring your own beach towels), tea towels and electricity included. A £200.00 returnable deposit for damages/breakages is required on booking. Sue and Keith the owners live adjacent to the cottage and are always available if you need anything - but they will never be in the way!
