Formerly an 18th century farm building, Roundhouse Cottagecan be found at the end of a tree lined private drive and is set in three acres of attractive grounds. The grounds consist of a lawned area, picnic tables/barbeques, a playing field with swings and there is also a copse for walking dogs.
If you want to simply get away from it all and relax in tranquil countryside or you enjoy walking, this is the perfect place for you and your family with beautiful countryside, National Trust coastal walks and Bodmin Moor. North Cornwall also provides many places of interest and beautiful beaches with Crackington Haven and Widemouth Bay (good for surfing) just a short drive away. Bude is another popular coastal town which is approximately 10 miles away and offers a good selection of places to eat, miles of sandy beaches (again excellent for surfing), golf course and many other seasonal activities and outdoor pursuits. There are also numerous reservoirs and lakes within easy reach of the cottage offering fishing, nature reserves and water sports.
Other popular places to visit are Tintagel, Port Isaac, Boscastle, Clovelly and of course Padstow with its superb selection of restaurants and seafood school.
This holiday cottage is perfect for a summer holiday and also provides a cosy retreat during the winter months where you can enjoy the countryside and dramatic coastline when it is at its quietest and relax in front of the wood burning stove and watch the flames flicker of an evening.

Spacious kitchen/diner with electric cooker, hob, microwave oven, fridge and automatic washer/dryer.
Additional information: The holiday cottage was originally converted for wheelchair users - All rooms are on one level, doorways are wide, roll in shower etc; Short breaks may be available - please enquire; Pets are welcome (small additional charge); Bed linen and tea towels are inclusive in the price and towels can be provided for a small additional charge.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cornwall and in particular The Roundhouse, where the peace and quiet made us want to stay longer. Lovely cottage and hospitality excellent.
Just right for our one week stay. Log burner made it cosy and porch great for storing 9’ surf boards. The farm is beautiful especially the play area which our two boys loved. Youngest enjoyed visiting the chickens every half an hour!
A very peaceful setting for a superb holiday.
So so tranquil, away from all the madding crowds. No traffic noise here, what lazy lie ins.
We cannot disagree with all the praise and plaudits given to The Roundhouse. We too have had a delightful time. Ah! The peace – wonderful.
