This delightful traditional fisherman's cottage has recently undergone extensive refurbishment to provide open plan contemporary holiday accommodation for four guests in two bedrooms. Flooded with natural light, the cottage is situated in the Downalong on one of the cobbled side streets just a stone's throw from the harbour. Plane Sailing is perfectly located for taking full advantage of the relaxed atmosphere of St Ives.

Decorated in soft seaside shades, Plane Sailing has a crisp modern feel that is enhanced with real oak flooring and wooden worktops.
Accommodation comprises:
Open plan living area downstairs. There is a fully equipped shaker style kitchen with wooden worktops, butler sink, electric fan oven with gas hob and extractor fan, integrated dishwasher, fridge and microwave. The sitting area has sofa, armchair, television (with Freeview) DVD player and CD player and there is a dining area with glass top table and chairs.
Lobby area between the outer door and the stable door to the lounge with washer/dryer, coat rack and storage space for beach gear.
Upstairs both bedrooms are light and airy with comfortable beds and quality mattresses. There is plenty of storage space in each and sumptuous carpeting. The main bedroom has sea and coastline views across the rooftops, king-size double bed, large fitted open wardrobe and shelving and space for a cot. The twin room has two 3ft single beds, fitted wardrobe and again space for a cot.
Fully tiled bathroom with double ended bath and a separate walk in shower. There is also a heated towel rail.
Additional information: Crisp white linen and plenty of towels are provided. Travel type cot available on request. Nearest car park and beach are fifty yards. Wi-fi access 50yds away Gas central heating throughout. Short breaks available outside of peak weeks. Unfortunately pets are not accepted.

Our week was superb, back from the beach, shower and change, then head out for an evening walk around the harbour before dinner became our daily ritual.
My wife is very picky about accommodation and she thought it was just perfect.
The location was just perfect for us. All the beaches so close it was wonderful.
The decor was superb and very comfortable, the central location was great. We ate out every night but our week was nowhere near enough time to try all the fantastic restaurants. All your recommendations were excellent !

The kids haven't stopped talking about what a fabulous time we all had. They got their first taste of a little independence as we allowed them to walk along the harbour in the early evening and buy an ice cream or go into the amusement arcade.
We are already recommending you to all our friends, superb place for a short break, we'd like to stay longer next time.
