Tredarrup is beautifully situated, set amongst farmland with fantastic views across North Cornwall's Allen Valley. 18th-century self-catering barns, Mill Barn (sleeps six) and Stable Cottage (sleeps four) offer a peaceful holiday retreat and a perfect location for exploring Cornwall.
Recently renovated, both retain their original character with stone walls, beams, cobbles, slate, granite and wood floors. Both have their own unique charm, they are beautifully furnished and decorated throughout with wood burning stove, column radiators, bathrooms with freestanding bath and shower room.
Within easy reach of the North Cornish Coast, surfing at Polzeath, sailing or fishing at Rock, sandcastles at Daymer Bay, cycling along the famous Camel Trail, moorland and coastal walks. Nearby are Padstow, Boscastle, Bodmin Moor and the historic fishing village of Port Issac. Only half an hour from the Eden Project and 40 minutes from The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
St Teath, the local village, has a newsagent, grocery store and a pub with good food.
Short breaks are available all year round.

Mill Barn was converted from the old farm's two-storey granary store and sleeps six adults in three bedrooms.
As you enter upstairs, the large open plan living area has its original high-beamed ceiling with great views across the valley. With a well-equipped hand built country kitchen, dining area, comfy sofas, wide screen TV, video, DVD and for those cosy winter evenings, column radiators and a wood burning stove. There is also a separate snug room for games, relaxing or for children to play in.
The downstairs bedrooms consist of a main double bedroom with original granite floor and grain sill. Along the cobbled hallway are two twin rooms. At one end is a large bathroom with luxury freestanding bath on original slate floor, at the other, a large shower room with mosaic tiled shower cubicle.
Mill Barn has its own outdoor covered terrace. With cobbled floor and old slate roof it looks out across our cattle and fields towards the coast. Adjacent is its own BBQ with grass area and our own private woodland.
There is parking for 3 cars close by. Short breaks are available.

The barn was beautiful. Thank you for the warn welcome and the cake. It was only a short break, but also worth coming. Jamie Oliver's was great and sat looking over the beach, perfect! I went to Port Issac for crab,Padstow for Rick stein, Watergate bay and Polzeath beaches were fantastic.! We'll be back.

What a fabulous week! We have enjoyed staying in your wonderful barn, playing in the garden and chatting to the dog, cats and chickens. This is a great part of the world too - we have visited lots of beautiful beaches, sand dunes, rock pools, and the Eden Project. Wonderful !

The welcome magnificent, Julie and Alex made us feel so welcome it made our stay. Chickens & tractors were a real hit with Joe. The barn and location – fantastic! Will definitely be back again.
