Lower Trowan is a beautiful single storey granite holiday cottage that affords wonderful sweeping sea views. Set in the tiny hamlet of Trowan, hidden away in picturesque Cornish countryside just a few minutes drive or a twenty minute countryside walk along the coast from St Ives, this luxury accommodation is the perfect place to relax and unwind whatever the season.
There are fabulous views across the meadow to the sea from the kitchen, dining area, conservatory and garden, the second bedroom looks out across to St Ives Bay and Godrevy lighthouse. Sleeping four in comfort the cottage is furnished to a very high standard with a mix of both contemporary and traditional, reflecting the stunning location.
Trowan is a private gated community of a dozen cottages most of which are private second homes and Lower Trowan is situated at the edge of the hamlet. St Ives and its five sandy beaches, restaurants, cafes and bars, shops and galleries lies a mile to the west.
Whether you simply want to get away from it all or plan to explore the area further the cottage is ideally located and equally suited to both families and couples.
The owners want guests to begin to relax from the very first moment they arrive and offer a range of services. Complete an online grocery shop during the build up to your break and arrive to find everything checked and safely put away, all you need to do is settle in and soak up the scenery or head straight to the beach.

Lower Trowan Cottage has recently been refurbished and now benefits from top quality fixtures and fittings. Exposed granite, real oak and natural slate flooring, vaulted ceilings with timber beams, pretty wooden shutters and carefully chosen textiles create a delightful seaside feel.
Accommodation comprises:
Spacious open plan living space which is bright and airy and extremely welcoming.
Handcrafted kitchen with granite worktops, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, including a view to the sea from the sink.
Dining area with a big farmhouse style table which can easily seat six. Plenty of room to spread out and relax.
Conservatory with LCD television (with Freeview/DVD), iPod dock and wi-fi access. This room has French doors which open out to the garden and one of the double glazed side units can also be opened back fully which is great on a summer afternoon.
Main Bedroom with double bed and countryside views across the garden - a lovely comfy cosy space with quality mattress to ensure a good nights sleep.
Bathroom which separates the two bedrooms and has a bath with a powerful Grohe shower over. With heated towel rail and storage, it is both spacious and modern.
Twin room with two sets of French doors with views towards St Ives bay. This room has two three foot beds (quality mattresses) and it can also accommodate a cot.
Outside: The garden has countryside, sunset and sea views - the perfect combination! A barbecue and garden furniture are provided for alfresco dining.
Additional information: Private parking for two cars at the entrance to the hamlet with space to unload/load at the cottage. Crisp white bedlinen and plenty of towels are provided. Personal chef, holistic/beauty treatments are all available at the cottage. Baby equipment can be provided if required. Bookings Friday to Friday – some flexibility and short breaks out of season. Well behaved pets accepted.
