Hosta House is tucked away in rural Cornwall and provides the perfect base from which to explore this beautiful area renowned for its famous historic houses and gardens. Just a short distance from the magnificent Lanhydrock House, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project, along with the coastal delights of the Cornish Riviera – home to secluded beaches, picturesque traditional fishing villages or heading west to Padstow and the fantastic surfing beaches of the North Coast.
Hosta House is a new conversion that is ideal for couples, with open plan living area and kitchen providing all the home comforts needed for an enjoyable stay. Outside guests will find a patio area overlooking the beautiful surrounding countryside and there is fishing lake on site, a putting green and guests have the use of a hot tub.
Just over a mile away is Lanhydrock Golf Club which provides the perfect opportunity to play a round of golf in a fantastic setting surrounded by rolling countryside or just stop there for lunch. For something a little different, visit Bodmin Jail which provides a unique visitor attraction and can be found along the route of the Camel Trail, a delightful cycle route along the banks of the River Camel. With a dramatic coastline and a variety of terrain this is a true walkers’ paradise and forms part of the South West Coastal Path.
After a busy day exploring the area, come back to sample the local produce on offer at in the Panda Inn, in Lanivet village, so called because the village is famous for growing the bamboo for the panda’s at London Zoo. Alternatively, go to The Crown, reputed to be one of Cornwall's oldest pubs, in the nearby village of Lanlivery.
This is a perfect base for a holiday in Cornwall. Bodmin is one of the oldest towns in the region and the surrounding area offers beautiful walks to be enjoyed from the doorstep, or on Bodmin Moor. Take in some wine from the award-winning Camel Valley vineyard or take a short drive to Padstow or Newquay to enjoy some fine dining in restaurants owned by top celebrity chefs.

Living area with a cosy dining area with sofa, which can convert for additional sleeping. There is also a flat screen television with Freeview, DVD player and Wi-Fi.
Fully fitted kitchen with double electric oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. A full range of utensils and accessories are also provided.
Double bedroom (with anti-allergy protection and percale sheets) and television with Freeview and DVD player. A travel cot is available upon request (no bedding provided).
Bathroom with bath with over head power-shower, WC, wash basin and pure Egyptian cotton bath sheets. A baby bath is available upon request.
Outside: There is a patio with garden furniture leading to the hot tub and barbecue area. There is a five bar gate that leads down past Cornish Hedges over-flowing with flowers into an acre paddock and down to the fishing lake. Off-road parking with space for a boat and trailer.
Additional information: A high chair and baby gate are available upon request. There is easy access to nearby amenities including golf, sailing, canoeing, walking, fishing, cycling and steam trains.
