Duke House offers three delightful holiday apartments that are perfectly located in the 'Old Town' of Padstow, amongst the narrow little streets with pastel-washed cottages, winding their way down to the harbour with its quaint quayside with shops, cafes, bistros and restaurants.  The apartments each have king size bedrooms and are ideal for couples or small families with one or two children (accommodated on a sofa bed).

Padstow is situated on the North Cornwall coast sheltering in a narrow gulley on the River Camel estuary.  It benefits from calm waters and generally a warm climate and is set against a beautiful landscape with wide sandy beaches and rugged cliffs.

Dating back around 300 years, Duke House has been totally renovated and refurbished in 2009 to provide three stylish apartments with stunning, contemporary accommodation that still retains many traditional features of Cornish stone and oak beams. Tastefully furnished and fully equipped to a very high standard, each beautifully designed apartment comes with delightful outside patio for alfresco dining - one apartment (Dukes Retreat) even has the exclusive use of a hot tub on the patio! 

This is the ideal location at any time of the year whether you are looking for a relaxing break in Padstow or for a base from which to explore Cornwall's many treasures.  Its diverse landscape holds many delights - unspoilt fishing villages, market towns, historical castles and houses, the famous attractions of the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and llanhydrock to name but a few.....

Coastal footpaths with wonderful walks and sandy beaches are closeby and the surfing capital of Newquay is just a short drive away. Rugged coasts, quiet coves, fabulous walks, the opportunity to fish, sail or try a range of water sports, all make this a perfect location for those who enjoy outdoor activities.   It is also great for golfers with the championship links golf course of Trevose within a short drive and three courses offering a challenge to golfers of all abilities within the area. Alternatively, simply relax and enjoy a meal in one of the many restaurants, bistros, cafes or pubs (including the famous TV Chef Rick Stein's restaurants); take a leisurely stroll around the town and look at the interesting little shops or enjoy a relaxing day on one of the beautiful sandy beaches such as Rock which is adjacent to Padstow and accessed by the ferry.
