Bellasize Farm is situated in the beautiful Glynn Valley between Liskeard and Bodmin at Twowatersfoot on The river Fowey (which is a Cornish word for the meeting of two rivers).
Located off the A38, set back off a farm lane this is a very peaceful place to stay and an ideal place to not only use as a base for touring this lovely area but also to escape the pressures of every day life.
Children can play in the meadow with swings, trampoline, climbing frame, ball games (football, swingball, cricket etc) and there is also indoor table tennis and table football.
There is plenty of parking for five cars and the garden is laid down to lawn with access to the river Fowey where you can relax and watch the wild life or walk the dog. Alternatively, enjoy fishing for Salmon and Brown Trout during the fishing season (April to December - with a license that the owner can arrange for you). The Halfway House pub is about a mile away in the car and offers food and ale, along with welcoming dogs.
Bellasize Farm is in a very convenient central location for exploring the whole of the county of Cornwall, along with its wonderful beaches, pretty fishing harbours, breathtaking walks (both inland and around the coast), country houses/gardens and numerous places of interest including:
Bodmin Moor and Siblyback lake.
Walks on the moors where you can see the beautiful scenery and feel the history of people living and working there long ago.
Bodmin Jail - visit the creepy dungeons and listen to the stories of former prisoners and their tortures, then have a nice meal in the jail restaurant.
A trip to Cornwall would not be complete without visiting the Eden Project where you will travel through the different climates or come later in the year and enjoy ice-skating.
Lanhdydrock House for an enjoyable walk around one of the oldest houses in Cornwall and roam the lovely gardens.
Carnglaze Caverns where you can visit the old slate mine and go down and see the under ground lake. Here you go back in time and can listen to the stories of the people who worked there.
St Mellion Golf Course where the English Golf Championship is to be held in 2011.
Or simply visit the lovely beaches and fishing villages that are all within easy traveling distance away.

Bellasize Barn sleeps ten guests with the facilitiy of accommodating a further two with the use of a cot or camp bed. The barn is made up of two delightful adjoining holiday cottages that can accommodate large parties when hired together whilst offering guests a good degree of 'personal space'. Each cottage offers the following accommodation:
Bluebell Barn sleeps up to four guests with accommodation that is mostly on one level comprising;
Lounge/Kitchen - The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave and it is fully equipped with all the crockery and utensils you require. The lounge has table with four chairs, comfortable sitting area with two sofas, coffee table, and colour digital television/DVD with an attached video recorder.
Bedroom one and the bathroom are down a step to the side of the lounge and this room has a double bed, wardrobe, and dressing table. The bathroom has electric shower over the bath.
Bedroom two is on the other side of the lounge and has twin beds, wardrobe and dressing table.
Foxglove Barn sleeps up to six and comprises:
Ground floor:
Entrance hall.
Lounge fitted with comfortable sofas with colour digital Freeview television/DVD and electric flame fire with coffee tables. The patio doors leads out onto an alfresco dining area with a barbecue.
Kitchen breakfast room with a kitchen, dinning and sitting areas. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, cooker and all the crockery and utensils you will require.
The dinning area has a large farm house table with chairs and two high stools to sit at the hatchway to converse with the cook of the day. There is also a sitting area to read the paper.
First floor:
Bedroom one is a large double room with an ensuite bathroom and shower.
Bedroom two and three are along the landing one being a double one a twin bedroom.
The bathroom is situated between the two rooms.
Additional information: The heating is by electric wall heaters in Bluebell Barn and partially eco electric radiators in Foxglove Barn . There is a shared guest laundry room which offers a washing machine, tumble dryer and sink with hot water for hand washing. Tariffs include heating, towels and bed linen. Cots, highchairs, and stair gates are also available. Pets are welcome at a payment of £20.00 per pet - no tigers please! Bellasize Barn is a non-smoking zone.
