Bay Watch House has recently been refurbished and is situated in an enviable position within the heart of St Ives overlooking the famous surfing beach of Porthmeor.
It is a beautiful Edwardian property which can accommodate up to thirteen guests (11+2) in six bedrooms and benefits from being just a short stroll from the Old Town and harbour.
The house was built using local granite and slate and still retains many of its lovely original features. All the main reception rooms and the master bedroom has wonderful sea views over Porthmeor Beach which take in the Island, and the headland called “The Clodgy”.
St Ives has been a popular holiday destination for many years. It is steeped in history, tradition and legend with its little cobbled streets, pretty fishermen's cottages and superb golden beach. The ancient town sits amongst spectacular coastal scenery and it is easy to understand why it attracts artists and photographers who want to capture its pure beauty.
The town offers an excellent selection of hotels, restaurants, pubs and cafes, along with interesting shops and art galleries (including the famous Tate St Ives).
There are plenty of things to do and attractions to visit in this area and throughout Cornwall. The coastal walks are fantastic and a great way to explore the area by foot or alternatively, enjoy a leisurely drive along the coastal road and take in the spectacular scenery. The National Trust has many fine houses and gardens to visit in the area and there are plenty of quaint fishing villages to visit including Portloe, Lamorna, Mousehole and Coverack. Lands End is too within easy reach as is the Helford Passage, The Lizzard and the world famous Eden Project to name just a few.

Small utility area with fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.
