Silverley Cottage is a delightful 19th century cottage which has recently been converted and refurbished to an exceptionally high standard. It offers luxurious and spacious holiday accommodation which beautifully combines traditional character and charm with every modern convenience. It is situated in a private and quiet location with no near neighbours so perfect for relaxing and chilling!
Within a short distance from the charming town of St Just, the cottage benefits from all of the towns amenities, whilst being positioned amidst beautiful open countryside, offering privacy and beautiful views.
You can enjoy coastal walking, cycling and pony-trekking almost from the front door and water sports and surfing can be enjoyed at the nearby Whitesand Bay at Sennen (a short drive by car or by bus). Alternatively simply relax in the spacious terraced garden and take in the beautiful surroundings.
Cornwall is a wonderful area to escape the pressures of every day life. It is renowned for its sparkling clear blue seas, sandy beaches, surf and clear starry skies with very little pollution. The Cornish coastline has much to offer with magnificent cliffs with beautiful little coves, sandy bays and charming fishing villages such as Mousehole.
Inland, the rolling Cornish countryside is varied with lakes, woodland, farmland and many picturesque villages and market towns dotted around just waiting to be explored.
Silverley Cottage is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is located at the head of Cot Valley just south of St Just close to the Atlantic coastline where there are excellent surfing opportunities closeby. It is only four miles from Lands End at the southern tip of Britain and the towns of St Ives and Penzance are only a short drive away offering a good selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and beaches.
The South West Coastal Path is only 10 minutes walk away offering 630 miles of wonderful coastal walking from Minehead on the edge of Exmoor to Poole in Dorset. The magical island of St Michael's Mount is just a short drive away where you can discover myth, legend and over a thousand years of incredible history.
Being located at the tip of Cornwall, the Scilly Isles are accessible via sea (from Penzance) or by air (from Lands End Airport) and make a perfect day trip with sparkling white beaches, abundant wildlife, exotic plants, magnificent views, Civil War castles and prehistoric sites - all just waiting to be explored.
The famous Eden Project is just up the Cornish Coast at St Austell - a global garden; place of beauty and wonder which explores humankind's dependence on natural resources.
There is so much to do in this part of Cornwall you will be sure to want to return time and time again.

Silverley Cottage provides all the modern conveniences you expect from a luxury holiday cottage. Accommodation comprises:
Ground Floor:
Front door opens into ground floor hallway with stairs that lead into the lounge and kitchen diner.
Kitchen/dining room - perfect for keen cooks with a comprehensive range of kitchen equipment. Fully equipped and custom built with electric range cooker, gas hob, overhead extractor fan, built in dishwasher, large fridge and freezer, combination microwave oven and large dining table for six guests.
Living Room which is light, bright and spacious with a lovely wood burning stove and views over the Cot Valley. There are also three comfy sofas and an easy chair as well as a flat screen television, Sky box, DVD and CD player and iPod docking station.
Utility Room with separate washer and tumble drier and plenty of storage for walking boots and outdoor equipment.
Wet room for surfing gear, wetsuits, etc. Includes shower and hooks - great for after the beach and rinsing off body boards.
Upstairs:
Stairs lead up to three bedrooms.
The master bedroom is spacious and bright with a double cast iron bed and an antique dressing table and wardrobe. It has views over the garden and Cot Valley and benefits from an en suite shower room.
Bedroom two has a double bed and has a lovely view down the Cot Valley.
Bedroom three is a cosy twin looking out over the back garden.
There is a large triple wardrobe on the landing for bedrooms two and three. Each bedroom has a flat screen TV, integral DVD player and a hairdryer.
House bathroom with bath with shower over, sink and WC.
Outside: The perfect hide and seek garden is a gardeners delight containing many interesting plants not found in other areas of the country. The patio has a table and chairs with a large barbeque with tools and views across the surrounding countryside - perfect for alfresco dining.
Fairly steep steps lead down through a profusion of fuchsia bushes and a fenced pond full of lilies with a built in seating area and outdoor fire. The path continues on down from here past banana trees into more secret lawned areas.
There is parking for two to three cars and the rear garden contains washing line and some covered storage.
Additional information: All linen, towels, electricity and heating is included within the price. Initial basket of logs, kindling and firelighters for the Wood-Burner (Winter months only) are provided. Welcome bag (bottle of wine, biscuits plus tea & coffee) are left for arrival. Free broadband access.
