Potters Cottage has recently been refurbished to provide stylish holiday accommodation that is split across four floors and it is located in an enviable position in the very heart of the beautiful, lively seaside town of St Ives in Cornwall.
Once owned by Janet Leach, the wife of the famous Bernard Leach (hence the name), the cottage offers well equipped and comfortable holiday accommodation for families, friends and couples who want to escape to this magical part of Cornwall.
Whilst originally a fishing village, St Ives has over the last one hundred and fifty years become popular as a holiday destination and also as a world renowned art colony. It is not surprising when you see the stunning scenery that this delightful part of West Cornwall has to offer. It has great sandy beaches which are ideal for both relaxing and surfing; galleries and interesting shops to browse; an excellent selection of restaurants and cafe's to suit all tastes and budgets; a bustling harbour which is home to many fishing boats and some simply stunning sunsets to enjoy!
Whether you are looking for a quiet weekend away; an activity holiday including walking, golf, fishing, surfing or diving; or simply a relaxing week on the beach, this is the ideal location.
There are numerous places to visit and things to do in this wonderful area. The Barbara Hepworth museum is located opposite the cottage; discover the Tate Gallery which is located at St. Ives itself; the Newlyn gallery in Penzance; Lands End; historic houses and gardens; watch a production at the famous Minack open air theatre or visit The Eden Project.
The list goes on but whatever you choose to do in West Cornwall, you will be amazed by its pure beauty and diversity.
