A four hundred year old holiday cottage that is situated in a quiet village position, tucked away next to the ancient parish church.
The village of Cubert is well located with easy access to the beaches of Polly Joke, Crantock and Holywell Bay which are all within walking distance. It offers two general stores, two good restaurants and a gift shop. Locally, houses sell seasonal produce including vegetables, duck eggs and fruit.
The 'surf capital' of Britain, Newquay is just four miles away. It offers a rare mix of spectacular beaches, wonderful coastlines, rock pools just waiting to be explored, magnificent views, crystal clear sea and of course fantastic surfing.
Locally there are three pubs, the closest being the Smugglers Den Inn, a delightful 16th century thatched Inn which is just a short walk across the fields. The three local beaches are also all within walkable distance of the cottage with the nearest being Holywell Bay which is just over a mile away.
Crantock a vast sandy beach is similar to Holywell with Dunes, Rock pools and caves and Polly Joke (or Porth Joke) is a very pretty beach. Polly Joke and Crantock Bay can also be accessed from the car park at West Pentire if you don't want to walk.
The two headlands between the three beaches offer some beautiful rugged coastlines with lovely Cornish views. For those who enjoy walking, there are coastal paths just waiting to be explored.

Elmar was built in the 1500's and offers comfortable cosy holiday accommodation for up to four guests. Accommodation comprises:
Two upstairs bedrooms - one double, one twin.
A dining room with seating, table and chairs.
Sitting room with TV (multi channel), DVD and CD player.
Fully fitted kitchen with microwave, washer/dryer, cooker and fridge.
Ground floor bathroom.
Separate ground floor toilet.
Additional information: Oil central heating is included within the price (but not often used as the external walls are so thick!). Fully double glazed. Allocated parking space. Electricity is included within the price. Bed linen and towels are not normally provided so please bring your own - they can be supplied by prior arrangement with the owner.
