Ty Coed - Self catering holiday cottage in Penparc, Cardigan, Ceredigion, Wales - Sleeps 4
Located in a beautiful part of West Wales, Canllefaes cottages offer a choice of six five star holiday cottages that can accommodate between two and eight guests individually or larger parties if more than one cottage is hired at the same time.
The cottages are located just outside the village of Penparc and surrounded by fields at the end of their own private lane, approximately two hundred and fifty metres from the A487 Cardigan to Aberaeron road.
This location is perfect for exploring the beaches, mountains and countryside of this beautiful part of Wales. Canllefaes Ganol was a farmstead with its origins dating back to the 12th century. The ancient buildings have been tastefully converted into attractive holiday cottages, where considerable care has been taken to preserve and enhance the original character such as beams and stonework.
Ranging in size, the cottages provide accommodation for parties of two to eight people and two cottages have been designed for people with limited mobility. There is an outdoor heated swimming pool which is available for guests to use from May to September, weather permitting.
Cardigan is just two miles down the road and is an ancient market town where you will find a bustling shopping centre with independent shops and supermarkets, a theatre/cinema and two leisure centres, one with both indoor swimming pool and toddler pool.
The area offers a great selection of beaches with hidden little coves to explore and the sandy beaches at Mwnt, Aberporth, Tresaith, Penbryn and Poppit are ideal for bathing or simply relaxing. For those who enjoy walking, you will be spoilt for choice with a network of paths allowing you to explore the countryside and coastal paths where you may catch a glimpse of the dolphins and seals!
Whether you are looking for a lazy relaxing holiday or an active fun packed experience, this wonderful part of Wales has something for everyone.

Reviews and Testimonials for Ty Coed
"What an exceptionally clean and spacious cottage - warmth when we needed it, plenty of crockery and cutlery, birds to entertain us as they had their meals when we had ours (even a spotted woodpecker came down to investigate) and cut flowers - a real home from home.
None of us are disabled but my parents (both 80 years old) are not too mobile. We were blessed with good weather and managed a visit to the pool which was deliciously warm and sheltered for the spectators. It was the first time I have swum outdoors for nearly 10 years. A fabulous holiday home that we will recommend to family and friends."
