Located in the small seaside village of Ferryside close to Carmarthen Bay are four beautifully furnished, 5 Star, stone holiday cottages that can accommodate parties of two to twenty eight guests (if hired together). Recently renovated from farm buildings, Ty Canol (the large farmhouse) accommodates larger family groups of up to fourteen and what was formerly a Longhouse, has now been converted into two luxury holiday cottages known as Pentre and Duffryn (each sleeping up to eight guests). The Cart Shed provides single storey accommodation and is ideal for couples or smaller families of up to four.

All cottages have been furnished and equipped to a high standard of comfort and style and guests benefit from the use of the superb facilities at the owners Hotel, The Three Rivers, which is located half a mile away where there is also access to the beach. The leisure facilities include a restaurant, bar, indoor swimming pool, sauna, spa, steam room, nine pin skittles and gymnasium - all within walking distance.

This is a great area for those who enjoy walking, cycling and fishing and also ideal to use as a base to visit the many attractions within Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and West Glamorgan (Gower). Sea angling is popular and productive in both the estuary and Carmarthen Bay and golfers too will not be disappointed with Wales offering some two hundred golf courses set amongst beautiful scenery (Glyn Abbey Trimsaren Course is six miles from the cottages and Ashburnham Pembrey Course is seven miles). The Ferryside based yacht club accepts holiday membership and has its own slipway along with changing, storage and bar facilities. 

There are a number of lovely designated walks within the area and the hotel organises feature walks locally. Ferryside is on the Celtic Cycle Trail and the owner's hotel has designated cyclists facilities that guests are welcome to use - being just half a mile from the railway station, the hotel makes an ideal "train and cycle" centre for those who want to explore the area without the use of a car.

Ferryside is the ideal base from which to explore South West Wales from Tenby and the Pembrokeshire beaches in the west to Swansea and the Gower in the east. There are plenty of places of interest to amuse all ages including Kidwelly Castle (three miles away), Pembrey Country Park and beach (six miles), the market town of Carmarthen (eight miles) and the National Botanical Gardens (sixteen miles).
