Penlan Holiday Cottage sleeps six to eight guests in three bedrooms. It is a traditional stone and slate detached holiday cottage that sits opposite the owner's farmhouse, in a courtyard setting, on a picturesque twenty two acre farm which is home to sheep, two tame geese, a farm cat and pet chickens.

It is a peaceful oasis, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, here you can enjoy walking through the surrounding farm fields and down to the boundary river where you can enjoy lovely views, birds, wildlife and beautiful countryside - don't forget your wellies!

Perfect for a relaxing holiday or short break, Penlan Holiday Cottage is equally suited as a base for an activity filled self catering holiday.

The cottage offers spacious and comfortable accommodation including three bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and separate shower room. In addition there is a fifty foot games room which is attached to the cottage, complete with full sized snooker table, pool table, piano/keyboard, gaming table, dart board, running machine and exercise bicycle for those rainy days or enjoyable evenings with friends and family.

Sitting in beautiful Carmarthenshire, Penlan Holiday Cottage is just ten miles from the ancient town of Llandeilo with its selection of independent shops and eating establishments.

Centrally situated, the cottage is ideal for walking, driving through the magnificent countryside or exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park which is located nearby. The Brechfa Forest, offers great cycling opportunities and the surrounding area offers fishing on local rivers and lakes and good bird watching opportunities where you can see Red Kites at the nearby feeding station, or soaring up above the cottage!

The Llyn Brianne Water Reservoir offers spectacular scenery or discover the mythical wonder of Llyn y Fan Fach (Lady of the Lake). The ancient ruins of Talley Abbey are just three miles from the cottage and the National Botanical Gardens and Aberglasney Gardens are just a short drive away. Also nearby are Dinefwr, Carreg Cennen and Dryslwyn Castles and the sandy beaches of Tenby, Llansteffan and Millennium Centre are within easy reach. The local village of Llansawel is just a quarter of a mile away where you will find two pubs providing excellent meals.
