Four lovely holiday cottages that are in an exceptional position, located in rural Glenlivet, Grampian in the North East of Scotland. With stunning mountain views all around, these holiday cottages offer an excellent location for exploring the highlands of Scotland, from Aberdeen to Inverness. They are also perfect for those who enjoy relaxing, wildlife, walking, cycling, touring, golf and even ski-ing!
Peace and tranquillity awaits you at Bluefolds, where you can relax and enjoy the dramatic panoramic views over the Cairngorm National Park mountains. The cottages accommodate between two to eight guests individually and here you can come and relax in this undiscovered corner of Scotland between Dufftown and Tomintoul.
The extremely comfortable holiday cottages are situated within a tastefully restored farmhouse and steading with stunning views across Glenlivet to the Glenlivet distillery, one of many on the Moray Malt Whisky Trail.
There are plenty of things to see and do in this wonderful area including: trying whisky nosings and tastings in Dufftown; visiting historic Scottish castles; exploring the idyllic fishing villages and beautiful empty beaches in Moray; meandering along the quiet Moray road where you can enjoy the spectacular scenery of mountains and hills; take a Puffin Cruise boat from Macduff Harbour to see the birdlife and possibly dolphins; relax on the Cairngorm Mountain Railway and take in the wonderful sights or visit the Lecht Ski Resort near Tomintoul for those who enjoy ski-ing or snow boarding.
You can enjoy a wonderful holiday in the remote wilderness area of the Cairngorm National Park at any time of the year. Whether it be autumn, winter, summer or spring, the scenery is breathtaking and there are plenty of activities and attractions to enjoy.

Folds cottage, can accommodate up to eight guests. This exceptional quality cottage has recently been redecorated and re-carpeted and has a very high standard of cleanliness.

Downstairs
Large lounge/dining room has patio doors to enjoy those stunning mountain views. CD/tape/radio player, digital satellite television with video and DVD players are provided for guests enjoyment.
Separate kitchen with coal fired stove which heats radiators in the lounge and bathroom. The kitchen includes hob, double oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher.
Separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Gound floor double bedroom with ensuite shower room with toilet and wash basin.
Bathroom with bath, toilet, wash basin and shower - also downstairs.
Upstairs
Two family rooms with one double and one single bed with wash basins, in each.
Additional information: Linen, towels and tea towels are included. Cot, high chair and baby bath are available free of charge. Barbecue and patio furniture are provided. Central heating and double glazed windows throughout.

It was the 2nd time for us at Bluefolds Cottages and it was wonderful again. Very Friendly and nice, amazing landscape and a 5-star Cottage. Steve and Elizabeth are very nice people. Steve's Whisky Knowledge was very helpful for me (to be honest I'm a whisky maniac).The walks around the cottage and Steve's recommended tours are very good.
