Meadow View is a traditional Welsh longhouse that sleeps up to eleven guests in five bedrooms. It is equally as suitable for large group bookings as it is small parties including couples looking for a cosy break away. This 16th Century farmhouse offers comfortable, well equipped accommodation that is ideal for a reunion of friends or family, team building events, anniversary and birthday celebrations and can accommodate groups of five to eight singles.

Situated on a working farm on the edge of Llanspyddid, a village in the Brecon Beacons National Park, the farmhouse is just one mile from the market town of Brecon. It is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts with lots of space for safe parking and storage of outdoor gear including canoes and bikes. With a cosy open fire, many original features, central heating and an enclosed lawned area with furniture and BBQ, this is an ideal retreat all year round.

The area offers a host of outdoor activities to enjoy including mountain biking (bikes can be hired locally and delivered), canoeing, wonderful walks, cycling along the Brecon-Monmouth Canal, horse riding, abseiling and gorge walking to name just a few.

Surrounded by fields, the farmhouse is a haven for wildlife with rabbits, foxes, hares and badgers in abundance, along with bird life such as pheasants red kite and buzzards soaring up above. You can walk a peaceful private track from the farm up to the hills and take in the panoramic views. The perfect place to enjoy a peaceful picnic, popular with artists who love to paint the views and photographers wanting to capture their beauty.

For those who want to explore the area, this is an ideal base with many attractions and interesting places to visit. These include: Castell Coch, a relatively modern fairytale castle; Dinefwr Park and Newton House owned by the National Trust; Brecon Mountain Railway where you can enjoy the wonderful scenery under the power of steam; Dragonfly Cruises on the picturesque Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal; The National Showcave Centre for Wales and the Brecon Cathedral and Heritage Centre.
