With beautiful views over the Black mountains and Brecon Beacons, this holiday home which is suitable for wheel chair users, is located on a working farm in a lovely position just four miles north of Brecon. It offers the ideal place to escape the pressures of everyday life and the views are spectacular!
Cefncoedbach offers three self catering holiday properties which can be rented separately or together to accommodate larger parties. Their location is ideal for those who enjoy the 'great outdoors' with plenty of activities to enjoy including walking, pony trekking, canoeing, golf, cycling, coarse fishing (available on the farm) and bird watching - all amongst the beautiful countryside of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
There are plenty of interesting places to visit in this lovely part of Wales including the National Botanic Gardens of Wales, Brecon Theatre, Royal Welsh Agricultural Show Ground, Brecon Mountain Railway and Dan Yr Ogof Show Caves to name just a few (see owners website for further details on the many local attractions).
For those who want to escape the duties of cooking, there are a good selection of country pubs offering good home cooked food using local produce. The Three Horseshoes in Groesffordd, The Royal Oak in Pencelli, The Old Ford Inn, The View Resturant at Cradoc and The George and Bishops Meadow are just a few that are available within the local area. There is also a good Chinese and Indian takeaway in Brecon.
The cottage makes a perfect base for a holiday in mid Wales - whether you want to explore the area or simply relax, this is the ideal place.

This spacious bungalow is also situated on the farm in tranquil surroundings, it has recently been extensively upgraded and facilities have been added to accommodate disabled guests.
The sun lounge with TV and video offers panoramic views of the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons.
There are four bedrooms, all tastefully furnished including two twin rooms and two double rooms - one of which is en-suite. The spacious bathroom includes a shower, a bidet as well as a bath, wash basin and toilet. A large kitchen is well equipped with an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave oven, off the kitchen is a utility room with washing machine.
During the summer, guests can relax in their own private garden with patio area and are more than welcome to take a walk around the farm. The bungalow is well heated by oil-fired central heating as weekend and short breaks are very popular during the Spring and Autumn.

Beautiful views can be enjoyed from seating in large lounge. Efficient heating and lighting throughout. Light switches and most power points 800mm from floor.
One spacious double bedroom leading to en-suite shower room. This has a wheel-in shower with safety rails. One smaller double bedroom Two large twin-bedded rooms.
Spacious bathroom which also has a shower and bidet. Level entry shower, Handrails in separate shower units, Bathroom WCs fitted with handrails.
Non-slip floor throughout except the bedrooms which are carpeted.

Roach, perch and chub up to ½ lb came out virtually every cast, but the catch of the week was a very healthy 4 ½ lb grass carp.
Very satisfying.
Good fishing in very pleasant surroundings.
