What a view ! The accommodation was great and the pooltable an added bonus. We have all had great fun rock climbing and horse riding at the Llangorse activity centre. We shall definitely be back for another weekend break

This was the perfect setting for my 60th birthday celebration and family get-together . What a lovely location particularly at this time of year.
The cottage was very cosy and comfortable and catered for our every need.
Thank you very much indeed

My partner and I had a very relaxing few days at a farm cottage in early September with gorgeous weather.
Fishing is available nearby in a small lake/large pond, which is continuously fed by natural springs. I discovered that the fishing is both very good and surprising. While the predominant species is roach, the average weight I found was ½ /¾ lb and at one session, I caught several over 1lb with floating crust! I am sure that there are bigger specimens. I was pleasantly surprised to catch chub (and lose others!) and there is a photo of the best one. They seem to thrive in a fishery that clearly has abundant natural food.
There are perch and I understand bream and carp (including grass carp which I would have liked to have caught) and possibly other species.
The message is that you donít know what you might catch but it could well be a whopper!
