Built in 1867 within the grounds of a country house, Chateau Cottage is a delightful stone built detached holiday cottage that is set in its own half an acre garden with lovely views of the Blorenge, Llangattock Mountain and Sugar Loaf. The cottage sleeps up to four guests in two bedrooms and is located within the Brecon Beacons National Park. It is ideally situated as a base for all outdoor pursuits or, alternatively, somewhere where you can relax, unwind and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Chateau Cottage is a comfortable cosy holiday cottage that is pet friendly. It is only a ten minute walk from the village of Glangrwyney, which has a public house and restaurant serving local ales and hosting weekly activities. The historic town of Crickhowell is approximately one mile from the cottage, with its many restaurants and shops specialising in good local produce.

Close by is the market town of Abergavenny and the World Industrial Heritage Site of Blaenavon. Within half an hour’s drive is the world renowned book town of Hay on Wye and also Brecon, with its cathedral, museum, leisure centre and play barn (to keep the younger members of the family amused).

There are many well known walks in the immediate vicinity (Table Top and Sugar Loaf mountains) which can be enjoyed directly from the cottage front door.

Nearby facilities include horse riding, fishing, golf, tennis, mountain biking and boating on the Monmouth and Brecon Canal as well as Llangorse Lake.
