Located five hundred yards outside the pretty village of Pennorth, five miles east of Brecon, Glaslyn House is an architecturally designed holiday home which can accommodate parties of up to twelve guests in six bedrooms.
Glaslyn House has been awarded 5 stars by VisitWales and is furnished in a contemporary style to provide all the comforts required for a relaxing holiday. Its style is unique within the area and its position affords fantastic panoramic views that span across three compass points. The beautiful Black Mountains, the lush Usk Valley and the Brecon Beacons - all providing wonderful views from Glaslyn House.
Situated within its own grounds, in an entirely peaceful and private position, Glaslyn House is perfect for large family gatherings or a reunion of friends. This is a wonderful part of Wales, with a beautiful landscape, traditional market towns, castles, canal paths and plenty of attractions for all ages to enjoy.
The breathtaking scenery is incredibly diverse with rolling countryside, wide open spaces, waterfalls and caves - whether you want to explore it by foot, bike or car, you are sure to appreciate its natural beauty.

Glaslyn House has six bedrooms, with lovely views of the surrounding countryside and gardens.

Ground floor:
Huge open plan living and dining area, with a modern dining table with seating for twelve, comfortable leather settees, television, DVD, video and CD player.
Sun lounge, off the living area, with wonderful views of the Usk Valley.
New kitchen that includes a range cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridgefreezer, ample storage space plus an additional fridge. The kitchen looks out over farmland behind and you can closely watch the birds nesting just outside.
Master bedroom on the ground floor with ensuite shower and WC, along with a television and DVD for guests enjoyment. There is also a sofa bed (double) in this large room which can sleep an additional two guests, making it suitable as a family room. The beds in this room are zip and link and can be used as two singles or a super king size.
Twin bedded room.
Bunk bed room with two standard size bunk beds.
New bathroom for the ground floor bedrooms to share.
Utility room housing the washer/dryer and there is also ample drying space outside.
Separate drying room is provided for the drying of walking/cycling clothes and boots.
First floor: There are a further three bedrooms on the first floor.
The first bedroom has a kingsize bed.
The second a double bed.
The third first floor bedroom has zip and link beds to make two singles or a super king size.
All rooms have ample wardrobe and storage space.
Bathroom with a deep bath and power shower.
Outside: A lockable outside shed is provided for safe bicycle storage. A bike stand, vice, tools and hose pipe are also available. The Gardens, which are well established and full of colour, surround the house, with the main garden fully enclosed. A superb patio and barbecue area has been laid enabling alfresco dining and appreciation of the peace, tranquility and fresh air.
