Blaen Cwm is a beautiful holiday cottage that is surrounded by the spectacular unspoilt scenery of the Black Mountains. It is hidden away in its own little valley at the foot of Lord Herefords Knob, offering complete peace and tranquility, with the nearest neighbour being a mile away.

This delightful cottage offers three bedrooms and can accommodate parties of up to eight guests.  It provides the perfect place to relax with friends or family at any time of the year.  You can cook a meal on the Aga and discuss the days adventures in front of a lovely roaring fire in the drawing room during the winter months or BBQ and relax on the terrace overlooking the stream during the summer.

There are plenty of activities in the local area and its close proximity to the Brecon Beacons National Park and the Usk and Wye Valleys mean that most rural activities are available. These include: shooting, hunting, river and lake fishing (gilly available), paragliding, horse riding, rock climbing and abseiling, regular gliding, gorge walking and adventure days, kayaking, rafting, Canadian canoeing, caving and potholing, archery, mountain biking, golfing, mountain boarding, off-road driving, paint-balling, orienteering, quad biking, rally carting, clay pigeon shooting, mountain walking and mountain skills, motoring along the wonderful mountain roads or alternatively, for the less adventurous, sit on Llandefalle Common under the Buzzards and Red Kites and watch the Welsh Mountain Ponies in their natural habitat - perfect accompanied by a large piece of Welsh cheese, a loaf of the local malted granary bread and at least one bottle of red!
